PERSONAL LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY

PERSONAL LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY I intend to inspire and lead the team through action. As a leader, I will provide my team with clear instruction and guidance leading them to meet the goals of the business. I will behave with decisiveness, power, authority and take up the responsibility if anything went wrong under my management. If the team did a good job, I took the opportunity to show my appreciation to them. If any mistake was made, I took the opportunity to encourage them to share the experience, grow together, fix the mistake, and motivate them for improvements.   I value trust, confidence, empathy, respect, and courage. At the same time, I will not tolerate irresponsible, laziness and dishonesty.   One of my core values is trust. I believe leaders should demonstrate trust by giving supports to the team. ADMIRED LEADERS

ADMIRED LEADERS Ms. Anne Choi   Ms. Choi is my boss in my first job. She is the Partner and Department Head in the company. She demonstrated trust, responsibility, and character at work.   When I was working with Ms. Choi, she was fair and consistent with all colleagues.  The trust that she built in the company made me feel safe to express myself freely and felt much less stress even though the workload was demanding. I believe that helped with my productivity as well because I felt satisfied with my work.   Ms. Choi was always responsible that she kept her commitments. I felt gratified when she kept her commitments to offer me a promotion. I believe her commitment made me more efficient at work. She also demonstrated good work ethics and that influenced me to behave in the same manner.     Ms. Yvonne Chua   Ms. Chua is another boss in my first job. She is the Partner in the company. For example, there will be a price hike of $.24 on the most popular 7.5 oz. size, raising from $1.59 to $1.83. Julie is worried that raising the price to cover up the increased cost might scare off her loyal customers, who would perceive the price hike as unfair. However, Julie’s boss, Dave, the Marketing Director, pointed out that downsizing/package shorting is a very common practice in the packaged goods industries. Dilemma Despite it being unethical as viewed by many people, it is not illegal to downsize its products, and it is a common practice within the industry. Should Julie’s company take this downsize approach? Decision criteria Stakeholders Julie Dave Customers of Julie
